samsketch:

This is how I felt about my painting for work yesterday. I wanted to bang my head against my cintiq every two minutes in frustration. I simply couldn’t wrap my head around how to paint what I was supposed to paint… it felt like my brain and my hand had mysteriously disconnected. This feeling was especially jarring because the last painting I did for them came so easily. But that’s how it goes with art - one minute you’re the master of your domain, and the next minute you want to commit harakiri with your wacom stylus. Anyway, I think I figured it out today - the expression, “tomorrow is another day” comes to mind!

Exactly how I feel today with my writing.
